| Urbania (the ancient Casteldurante) Situated in the region of Marche, in the high valley of Metauro river, in 1636 Casteldurante, once Urbino dukes' domain, became Urbania in honour of Pope Urbano VIII, and the Papal bull used four nouns to describe the small village: for the civility of its inhabitants and the beauty of the place "Aminetate loci, humanitate civium".
